From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

Local parents, who have had a child in the past two years, are being asked to feedback their experiences of Birth Preparation and Education Classes.

NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) would like to speak to parents who have had a baby in either 2015 or 2016, about their experiences of Birth Preparation and Education Classes; reasons why they either did or did not attend classes and how services could be improved for future parents.

Sam Barlow, NHS Hull CCG Engagement Manager said:

“We would like to get a true picture of how parents in the city feel about birth preparation services, and what they think could improve them. If you’ve had a baby in the past two years and have been to a class, such as BUMPS, then we want to talk to you.”

Parents are invited to feedback in a number of ways;

  • Attend a focus group:
    • Tuesday 7th June, 10am, Tesco – St Stephens Shopping Centre. Click to book

Sam added:

“Even if you have recently had a child you chose not to attend Birth Preparation and Education Classes we would like to hear from you – we want to know why you didn’t go – all views are helpful in future planning.”
