Snake bites

A snake will sometimes bite in self-defence if it is disturbed or provoked. Some snakes are venomous and can inject venom (toxin) as they bite.
Symptoms of snake bites
Adder and foreign snake bites can cause similar symptoms. Severe venomous snake bites can cause serious symptoms, such as muscle paralysis and anaphylaxis.
