NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) would like to remind local voluntary and community groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations, that Healthier Hull Community Fund applications are still being accepted.
Groups can apply for up to £5000 in funding to help NHS Hull CCG to improve the health of local communities, get people active, or help people to better care for themselves.
As the deadline of Friday 6 November 2015 draws closer, those applying for the fund are invited to the final ‘Healthier Hull Community Fund Advice Session’ on Monday 2 November 2015 between 10am – 4pm.
Individuals and groups who are applying to the fund can meet with the CCG team on a 1:1 basis and ask last minute application questions. The session is designed to ensure anyone applying for the fund has the best chance of being accepted; groups who have already submitted their application are also welcome to attend.
Colin Hurst, CCG Engagement Manager said:
“The Healthier Hull Community Fund is a great opportunity for local voluntary, community and not-for-profit groups to receive funding and help us create a Healthier Hull. We know that the people working ‘on the ground’, so to speak, are best placed to decide where funding should be spent as they know first-hand what can help their networks and communities to be healthier.”
“This 1:1 session will give applicants an opportunity to speak to us and ensure that they are submitting the best application possible. The next stage of decision making includes a public vote, so we want to help groups tease out the vital details which will aid in their success going forwards.”
Those wishing to book on the advice session, and those who plan on applying for the fund, can find out more on the CCG website here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HHCFadvicesession
The closing date for applications is midnight, Friday 6 November 2015.
