Healthwatch Kingston upon Hull Information and Advice Sessions


Healthwatch, the new independent consumer champion for health and social care, will be holding Information and Advice sessions in Hull

The sessions, will be hosted by Libraries and Customer Service and Resource Centres across Hull, will be an opportunity for people to find out about local health or care services, to have their say on local services, or to get help with raising an issue or making a complaint.

People will be able to speak to a member of the Healthwatch team and discuss their issue.

Monday October 6th, 10:00am-12:00noon – The Wilson Centre

Monday October 6th, 1:30pm-3:30pm – Holderness Road CSC

Tuesday October 7th 10:00am-12:00noon – Bransholme CSC and NHS Centre

Tuesday October 7th 1:30pm-3:30pm – The Orchard Centre

Thursday October 9th 10am – 12.00 noon Age UK Porter Street

Thursday October 9th 1.30pm – 3.30pm – Chanterlands Avenue Library

Friday October 10th 10am – 12.00 - Bethune Avenue Information Centre,

Wednesday October 29th 10am – 12.00 – Hull Central Library

Healthwatch Kingston upon Hull is the new, independent consumer champion for health and social care. Healthwatch has been set up is to give adults, children and young people and a powerful voice locally and to help people get the best out of health and social care services.

Healthwatch helps people to share their views and concerns about local health and care services, and navigate their way around the health and care system by providing information and signposting.

Healthwatch has been established by the Health and Social Care Act 2012. Hull CVS (Community and Voluntary Services) has been awarded the contract to set up Healthwatch in Hull.
