To help us achieve our aims, we are seeking energised, highly motivated, qualified GPs to apply for a place on our GP recruitment health and social care partnership programme. Recruitment starts now for successful applicants to commence February-March 2015. This exciting programme will provide the right candidates with the following compelling employment experience:
• A six-year contract in clinical practice including rotational placements across 3 GP practices, NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group, HYMS, Secondary Care and Public Health
• Opportunities to develop skills in clinical commissioning, teaching and research, public health strategy and delivery and care of the elderly
• An education bursary to study towards a Masters or PhD level qualification
• A supported out of programme placement
We are looking to appoint to nine GP posts across three schemes. Each scheme will comprise of GP practice experience with two-year rotations between GP Practices within the city of Hull and one of three specific healthcare themes: clinical commissioning; public health and medical extensivist posts; and advanced academic research and teaching.
Appointees will be employed by a GP practice and become part of the clinical team, with standard BMA contracts.
